Role Overview: We’re looking for a Social Media Manager with a strong background in the nonprofit space and a deep understanding of fundraising. This role is crucial in shaping our social media presence, crafting compelling content, and driving conversations that lead to meaningful connections and partnerships.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation: Develop and post engaging written and video content on LinkedIn focused on fundraising and our platform’s offerings.
  • Outbound Messaging: Initiate direct conversations with potential leads through LinkedIn, aiming to schedule meetings with our account executives.
  • Lead Management: Organize and track leads within LinkedIn and our database, ensuring effective follow-up and nurturing.
  • Video Presence: Appear on camera and create video content that resonates with our audience, including basic video editing.
  • Ghostwriting: Create content for our sales team, including Account Executives, Business Development Representatives, and Account Managers, to support their outreach and engagement efforts.
  • Copywriting: Craft persuasive copy for campaign pages and other marketing materials to drive engagement and conversions.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Fundraising Expertise: Authentic knowledge of fundraising practices and challenges in the nonprofit sector.
  • Content Creation: Strong copywriting skills with the ability to produce compelling content that reflects our mission and engages our audience.
  • Lead Organization: Ability to efficiently manage and organize leads, with a focus on conversion and relationship-building.
  • Customer Management: Experience in managing customer interactions and maintaining positive relationships.
  • Video Skills: Comfortable on camera with basic video editing abilities to create professional and impactful content.
  • Creativity and Passion: Enthusiasm for creativity and writing, with a genuine interest in nonprofit work and fundraising.
  • Ghostwriting: Experience in creating content that aligns with different voices and styles for various team members.

Preferred Background: We are open to candidates who are either experienced Social Media Managers from the nonprofit sector or nonprofit fundraisers who are passionate about creativity and writing.
